Graphic Designer Personal Brand Photo Shoot – Reading, Berkshire: Purple Hippo
Eric from Purple Hippo, a creative graphic design company, recently reached out for a personal brand photo shoot to support the launch of his new website and social media marketing. He wanted a collection of branding lifestyle images that would reflect both his professional expertise and his approachable, creative personality.
From the start, we aimed for a relaxed yet professional vibe in the photos. To achieve this, we chose Coppa Club in Reading as our shoot location. With its stylish, comfortable sofa areas, rich autumnal colour palette, and bright, smart working spaces, it provided the perfect backdrop for Eric’s brand. The mix of cosy textures and modern design created a versatile environment that worked beautifully for both candid and more posed shots.
Eric was a natural in front of the camera—calm, confident, and easy-going. Like with all of our clients, we guided him through a variety of poses designed to feel authentic and natural. We focused on a range of working shots, including candid moments of Eric reviewing his designs, using his laptop, and engaging as if in conversation, alongside more direct portraits that showcased his friendly, professional demeanour. We also coached him on how to interact with the camera, helping him feel at ease and ensuring the images captured his genuine personality.
The final collection of images is a perfect fit for Purple Hippo’s brand, offering a versatile set of photos for social media marketing, newsletters, and website content. It was a pleasure working with Eric, and we’re thrilled with how the images reflect both his creative flair and the approachable, professional nature of his business.
